Justice Delivered: Settlement Reached for Maryland Pizza Drivers

In 2022, Forester Haynie filed a lawsuit on behalf of Donald Wilson, a Maryland-based delivery driver who drove for a Domino’s Pizza franchise. The original complaint, filed in the District of Maryland, alleged that the defendant failed to reimburse drivers for all costs connected to delivering pizza, which can result in a minimum wage violation. The court later certified the case and allowed the defendant’s other delivery drivers to join the lawsuit. The case settled in February 2026 in favor of the class of delivery drivers.
