Papa John's

Franchises We Are Investigating

Most Papa John’s stores in the country are franchised out to corporations that range in size and are not directly owned by Papa John’s International, Inc., though some are.

We are investigating claims that drivers employed by the franchises below are not being compensated correctly:

  • CFL Pizza, Inc.
  • Koning Restaurant Int’l., L.C.
  • Ozark Pizza Co.
  • Bam-Bam Pizza, Inc.
  • Serazen
  • Oney Bayside, LLC.
  • Papa John’s International, Inc.

Mileage Reimbursement

The IRS determines mileage reimbursement rates, which are based on the average costs to own and operate a vehicle. When employers inaccurately reimburse their employees, many of them pay for gas, oil, and other common vehicle maintenance costs out of their own pocket. After these costs are accounted for, this leaves employees with wages that fall below the federal minimum wage. Employees always have the option of calculating the actual costs of using their vehicle rather than using the standard mileage rates, but it is not the employees responsibility to do so. It is the responsibility of the employer to pay the employees a reasonable wage.

Forester Haynie takes minimum wage and FLSA violations very seriously. These violations happen because limitations within the law allow some employers to pay their employees below the federal minimum wage. Forester Haynie’s attorneys are dedicated to making sure that people are being lawfully compensated for their labor. More than $10 million have been recovered for pizza delivery drivers across the nation.
